Bluebonnet Youth Ranch Benefits from Local Company’s Involvement

Del Papa supports ranch for children who have been victims of abuse and/or neglect

July 15, 2008 – VICTORIA, TX—Del Papa Distributing Co. recognized the value of Bluebonnet Youth Ranch’s commitment to providing a safe, healthy, family-oriented environment for children who have been victims of abuse and/or neglect through a $4,000 donation to the organization. This contribution continues the company’s commitment to sponsoring local charities.

“We are so happy that Del Papa is contributing to the important work we do at Bluebonnet,” said Jessica Gumm, Development Director for Bluebonnet Youth Ranch. “We provide a safe home for children who have a troubled home life and who may never experience a safe home otherwise.”

The purpose of Bluebonnet is to provide every opportunity for children to live free from victimization so they may build better futures for themselves and mature into successful, productive adults. The organization’s mission is to provide a safe, healthy and family-oriented environment for children in need. The Bluebonnet Youth Ranch is licensed by the state of Texas, and referrals for placement are accepted from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS), families, courts and private sources.
